NSU Graduation Photographer- Kiahna’s Golden Hour Grad Session

As a graduation photographer at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), I had the incredible opportunity to capture Kiahna’s senior session at two iconic locations on campus: the School of Law and the Law School Library. From the moment the session started, the combination of stunning golden hour light and the classic architectural beauty of NSU created the perfect backdrop for a graduation shoot to remember.

Golden hour is the period just before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and flattering—creating a magical glow that makes every moment seem timeless. At Nova Southeastern University, the golden hour light enhances the beauty of the campus, especially around the School of Law. We timed Kiahna’s session just right to capture those precious moments when the light softens, casting a gentle glow across the campus’s iconic buildings.

We started the session at the NSU School of Law, one of the most architecturally stunning places on campus. The grand columns, the sleek modern design, and the inviting entrance made for an impressive backdrop that really showcased Kiahna’s accomplishments. As a graduation photographer, I love working with these architectural elements, and NSU’s School of Law was the perfect canvas for Kiahna’s photos. The golden hour light highlighted every detail, making each shot look like something straight out of a dream.

Next, we moved to the Law School Library—a place where countless students have studied, researched, and prepared for exams. The library at NSU is not just a hub of academic achievement, but also a beautiful location for graduation photos. The rich, warm tones of the building combined with Kiahna’s stunning graduation attire created a contrast that was both elegant and timeless. With rows of books lining the walls and the soft glow of sunset streaming through the windows, it felt like the perfect tribute to her years of hard work and dedication.

As a graduation photographer at NSU, I always enjoy the opportunity to highlight the spaces where students have spent so much of their time. The Law School Library is a place that holds so much history and personal significance for graduates, and it was a privilege to capture Kiahna in such a meaningful location.
